Understanding and Embracing the Transformation of Becoming a Mother
(in French)

Welcoming a baby also means welcoming a new role: that of a parent. But becoming a parent is not just another layer on an already busy life, it brings profound changes: matrescence. This term, combining “adolescence” and “motherhood,” reflects the many upheavals similar to adolescence. Led by Maude, a perinatal mental health social worker, this session explores matrescence through her own experience: lack of support, discovering the mental load, and, above all, celebrating small daily victories. Because becoming a mother is an inner journey lived in connection with others. Through moments of reflection, statistics, and relevant insights, you’ll be invited to observe and better understand your own experience.

About Maude:

Social worker and co-founder of Clinique Matrescence, Maude Duchemin is a dedicated practitioner in the field of perinatal and parental mental health. For several years, she has supported parents through the perinatal period, recognizing the complexity and nuances of maternal experiences, often marked by ambivalent emotions and invisible challenges. Maude is also the host of the podcast Simplement Matrescence, where she explores these realities with sensitivity and authenticity. Before fully dedicating herself to perinatal mental health, she worked as a doula and birth photographer in Quebec, giving her a close-up view of the many facets of parenthood and enriching her approach to supporting families.

The Power of a Mother's Growth: Transforming Tomorrow, Today! / When a mom grows, the whole family rises, mindset is their inheritance (In English)

As mothers, we often focus on giving everything to our children: love, security, opportunities. But the greatest gift we can ever give them is our own growth. Our children don’t do what we say, they do what we model. When we change, they change. This talk explores the profound impact of a mother’s personal growth on her children and future generations. We will shine a light on transgenerational trauma — the invisible patterns and wounds passed down from one generation to the next — and discover how self-awareness, healing, and mindset work can break cycles and create new, empowering legacies.

By understanding how the mind works, how energy and frequency shape our reality, and how attention directs growth (“energy flows where attention goes”), participants will learn how to shift focus from fear, lack, and overwhelm toward positivity, abundance, and conscious parenting. In doing so, mothers can transform not only their own lives but also the self-image, confidence, and future of their children.

About Tammy:

Although Tammy studied psychology, she built a career spanning over 25 years in property and casualty insurance, including more than 20 years as a branch manager, business development specialist, and corporate leader. Despite her success, something was missing. After battling cancer, Tammy returned to her original passions, becoming a certified naturotherapist and Proctor Gallagher consultant. Today, she teaches companies and individuals how to harness energy, foster engagement, and apply principles like the law of vibration and the law of attraction to achieve their best selves.

Her mission is to bring new awareness to families, children, and businesses, highlighting the importance of energy, respect, and love in work and personal life.

In this refreshingly honest session, time management expert and mom of four Jill Wright shares her personal journey through autism diagnosis, burnout, and entrepreneurship, and the tools that helped her redefine balance on her own terms. You'll explore what balance really means (hint: it's a verb, not a destination), learn practical strategies like Time Confetti, Eat Your Frog, and the 7 Types of Rest, and walk away with simple, sustainable ways to support your mental health, manage your time, and lighten the mental load. Expect real talk, powerful tools, and permission to do things differently. Q&A welcome.
